About Us

Welcome to spanishfootball.info, an English language website dedicated to covering the beautiful game in Spain. We cover all the main competitions from La Liga to Copa del Rey to Spanish teams in Europe as well as the Spanish national team. Founded in August 2010, our philosophy has always been to cover as many different aspects of Spanish football as possible. With that in mind you can find articles on less well-known clubs and players in our In Focus section, on the rising stars of the Spanish game in La Cantera section and views on the various issues affecting the game in Spain in our Opinion section.

Spanishfootball.info is an impartial website, we do not follow, support or favour one team and passionately believe all teams deserve equal respect, no matter how many supporters they have or what league they play in. We do, however, feature guest writers who support or are specialized in specific clubs or aspects of Spanish football.

The Spanish league is one of the most popular in the world and there are a large number of sites dedicated to its coverage. We don’t claim to be the only or the best site out there, just one of a number of non-commercial, fan-centred sites, run out of nothing more than a genuine passion and interest in football.

If you are looking for a website that reports on the latest Barça/Real Madrid gossip then you have come to the wrong place. However, if you are looking for a more original, in-depth perspective on what’s really going on in Spain, check us out.
