  • Eneko Satrústegui hasn’t had the best start to his La Liga career, and that’s putting it mildly. He’s been sent off in both of his Osasuna appearances this season, the first time any player has ever done so.
  • The 3 times that Álvaro Negredo has scored this season, Sevilla have not lost any of those games.
  • Granada’s victory over Athletic was only the 2nd time they’ve ever done so at San Mamés. The last time being in 1972, also a 0-1 scoreline.
  • Raúl Garcia became the 27th youngest ever player to reach 200 games in La Liga at the weekend, with the Osasuna man being 25 years old and 139 days. The record is held by Raúl, who reached 200 at 22 years old.
  • Jonathan Pereira scored 2 goals in 5 minutes for Real Betis, after they’d gone the previous 551 without scoring a single one.
  • After 13 games, this is the best record by any Real Madrid team since 1991.
  • The four previous games Barcelona had conceded the first goal in this season, they ended up drawing 2-2 each time. Real Madrid, Milan, Valencia and Athletic.
  • Jonas’ goal against Rayo Vallecano was his first in La Liga this season, after playing 530 minutes. Meanwhile in the Champions League, he has 3 goals in 271 minutes.
  • While at Villarreal, Manuel Pellegrini never lost at Málaga’s La Roselada gaining 1 win and 2 draws.

Finally…

  • If Cristiano Ronaldo keeps on scoring at his current ratio, he would be Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer by April 2016. The record is held by Raúl with 323 goals.
