Spain U-16 to face Belgium twice in May at Las Rozas

Spain’s Under 16 squad have been scheduled to play two friendly games in their own Las Rozas base. The squad will gather upon the ‘Soccer City’ to play Belgium’s respective youngsters in what has been described as initiative to provide them preparation ahead of competition on a grander scale in the next 12 to 18 months.

The games will be held on May 24^th at 18:00 and May 26^th at 11:00 local time.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are the best represented in the squad of 20, with the two giants having 4 and 3 players respectively included.

Spain U-16 Squad as follows:

Goalkeepers: Rubén Blanco Veiga (Celta Vigo), Sergio J. Rodríguez Domínguez (Real Madrid).

Defenders: Salvador Ruiz Rodríguez (Valencia), Víctor J. Ruiz Ramos (Málaga), Iván Sáez Jiménez (Real Madrid), Rubén Duarte Sánchez (Espanyol), Rodrigo Tarin Higon aka Rodri (Cracks).

Midfielders: Iker Undabarrena Martínez, Aitor Seguin Cid (both Athletic Bilbao) Álvaro Bustos Sandoval (Sporting de Gijón), Samuel Castillejo Azuaga, Alejandro Grimaldo García, Sergi Samper Montaña (all three Barcelona) Iván Calero Ruiz, Borja Martínez Sánchez (both Atlético de Madrid)
