No, not a tale about a saucy night with El Diez, unfortunately, but instead a quick post to let people know about the excellent, award-winning football blog and friends of Spanishfootball.info, In Bed With Maradona.
IBWM is a football blog different to many others out there on the WWW. It chooses not to focus not on the usual questions like ‘Who is going to win the Champions League”, “Who’s Better, Ronaldo or Messi?” or even “How corrupt are FIFA on a scale of 1-10?”. It’s far more interested in the road less travelled in terms of football writing, covering, for example: The A-league final in Australia, the first gay professional footballer to come out since Justin Fashanu and the biggest losers in Colombia.
They’re also fairly interested in the game on the Iberian Peninsula, and that’s where we come in. In recent weeks a couple of the Spanishfootball.info writers have been guest-writing for IBWM and you can read them by following the following links:
